Responsibilities: - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals - Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions - Develop treatment plans for patients based on their dental needs - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures - Use dental instruments and equipment to examine teeth and gums - Take and interpret dental X-rays - Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care - Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses Requirements: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license - Knowledge of dental systems and procedures - Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment - Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental restorations - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Experience working in a dental office setting - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment plans - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality - Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Ability to take vital signs and monitor patient comfort during procedures This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Dentist to join our team.
