Dental Hygienist

In this energetic and rewarding position, you will utilize your expertise to perform thorough dental cleanings, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and laser and anti-microbial treatments. Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take digital X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix. Follow strict HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Our office is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can see 6-8 patients in one day or spread them over 2 days.

Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably with implant and cosmetic procedures. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation. Experience using EMR systems such as Dentrix for managing patient records efficiently. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
