Job Summary:

You will serve as the main point of contact for all patients and the community. You will answer phones, handle patient inquires, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans. You will be a support person to all staff members and patients while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager. TC Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provides strong communication and excellent customer service skills by greeting patients and the community in a respectful manner • Explain treatment plans, procedures, and costs to patients • Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information • Assist with billing and financial arrangements for treatments • Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly • Ability to answer internal and external calls in a friendly and helpful manner • Schedule, maintain, and confirm appointments • This role requires computer skills and comfort with navigating multiple applications simultaneously. • Respond to patient billing, financial, and insurance inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department • Post charges and payments to patient accounts accurately with extreme attention to detail

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year experience is REQUIRED and 3 years experience is preferred as well as knowledge of a wide range of dental procedures. Experience with Dentrix and social media marketing is a plus!
