Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) E. Hunter Pierce DMD PA 1902 Glen Meade Road Wilmington, NC 28403 Position Overview We are looking for a part time dental hygienist to join our general dental practice. We are a small, single doctor, dental office that has been serving the Wilmington area since 1979. We are blessed to have many loyal patients that have been with us for a long time and we are looking for someone who would love to build and continue those long time relationships.

This is a non-corporate dental office, there will be no pressure to produce daily minimums of treatment planning. Patients are seen in 1 hour blocks (one column scheduling) in order to provide time for treatment, charting and cleaning. Our success has been built on friendliness to our patients and that philosophy extends to our employees. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance. Conduct thorough patient oral health screenings and education. Execute high-quality digital radiography. Work with other staff members to help with instrument and room turnover.

Qualifications and Requirements Active NC Dental Hygiene License: Must be maintained at all times. Active CPR License: Must be maintained at all times. Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care. Experience is preferred but not required.
