Pediatric Dentist

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. We are a biological practice with a growing pediatric demand. We take a comprehensive approach and focus on lifestyle adjustments, nutrition, airway health and collaborative care with other therapists/bodywork professionals. Our patients are wonderful and parents are motivated to help their kids. Sedation is a bonus but not required. *Duties* * Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health needs and treatment plans. * Perform a range of dental procedures including but not limited to: * Pediatric restorative care - Dental extractions - Space Maintenance * Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety during all procedures. * Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient, including treatment records and follow-up care instructions. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures. * Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care. * Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. * *Experience* * Proven experience as a Dentist in a clinical setting is preferred. * Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, procedures, and techniques. * Familiarity with medical documentation practices and patient management systems. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. * Commitment to providing compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort throughout their treatment journey.
