About the Role

Texas Dental in Plano is growing and we’re elevating our front office to the next level.

We are seeking an Assistant Office Manager who is not only strong operationally, but also motivated to grow into a future leadership role within the practice.

You’ll work closely with leadership to support daily operations while developing the skills needed to step into a leadership position over time.

Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM **Consistent weekday schedule with early days throughout the week.

What You’ll Do Support front office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and communication Assist with treatment planning and case presentation Verify insurance, manage claims, and support collections processes Track and help interpret key performance metrics (KPIs) Partner with leadership to improve workflows, systems, and team performance Support training and development of team members Deliver an exceptional, patient-first experience Maintain accurate documentation and financial records

What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of dental front office or coordinator experience Experience with Open Dental Strong knowledge of insurance, claims, and treatment planning Understanding of KPIs and how they impact office performance Proven leadership ability or strong desire to grow into leadership Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset Highly organized with strong attention to detail Long-term thinker who wants to grow with the practice

Preferred Experience in a fee-for-service environment Experience working with multiple providers or specialties
