Now Hiring: Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)

Join our growing dental team! We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to become part of our office family.

Who’s Dr. Ken Cheng?

He is a low-key Dental nerd and pet lover of his miniature yorkie MJ. Dr. Ken is a dad first and a dentist 2nd. He believes in balancing the priorities of family and working to provide for them. Duluth Dental Group, LLC is a single doctor and single location practice. (fun fact his wife is a dentist too and owns her own practice)

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday Patient Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM 30-minute lunch break Enjoy most Fridays off! We work 1 Friday per month 8am-3pm

Applicants must be able to work the scheduled hours listed above.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting the doctor during procedures Taking digital X-rays and digital scanning Performing expanded duties as permitted by state regulations Sterilization and operatory setup Providing excellent patient care and education Maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere

Qualifications:

Expanded Duties certification required Dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Team-oriented with a positive attitude Dependable and punctual

Qualifications:

· Current dental hygienist license

· Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

· CPR Certification

· Anesthesia Certification a Plus ( We can help you get certified)
