Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Our private orthodontic practice in Johns Creek South Forsyth area is seeking a full-time (32 - 34 hrs/week) Orthodontic Assistant to join our fun and cohesive team.

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work closely with the orthodontist to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your role will involve assisting with various orthodontic procedures and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients.

Duties:

• Assist orthodontist with orthodontic precedures ( changing wires, delivering appliances, instructing patients on brushing and flossing with braces, etc.)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-treatment care instructions
• Make our patients feel comfortable while they are in the office
• Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment

Requirements:

• X-ray certification required; additional certifications in dental assisting (such as CDA) are a plus -Previous orthodontic assisting experience
