Orthodontist – Full-Time Track with Strong Support
Fairfax County, VA | Private Orthodontic Practice
We’re seeking an experienced Orthodontist to join a well-established, private orthodontic practice in Fairfax County with 2 locations. This is a great opportunity for someone planning to relocate to the Northern Virginia area or looking for long-term stability with room to grow. The current orthodontist is looking to phase down his clinical days and will remain on during the transition to ensure continuity and support.
We’re looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of clinical orthodontic experience, along with proven team management skills and the ability to lead monthly huddles, oversee staff performance, and foster a positive, productive work environment. This role also requires confidence in conducting financial presentations with patients to clearly communicate treatment plans and payment options.
Position Highlights:
Start Date: Immediate
Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM + one Saturday/month (9:00 AM–3:00 PM)
Practice split between two locations, just 15 minutes apart
Part Time to start if needed, with transition to Full Time with mentorship and transition support by end of 2026
Responsibilities Include:

Delivering high-quality orthodontic care

Completing notes and treatment consultations

Leading and mentoring the clinical team

Running monthly team huddles

Building and maintaining relationships with local referring doctors

Managing Medicaid documentation and insurance pre-auth letters

Contributing to practice growth through metrics and reporting
About the Practice:

Team includes: 3 clinical assistants, 1 treatment coordinator, 3 admin staff, and an office manager

Patient Base: Fee for Service, PPO and Medicaid
