Endodontic Dental Assistant

Dental assistant who specializes in supporting endodontists during root canals and pulp-related procedures. Infection control, and patient care. Key duties include preparing operatories, taking digital radiographs/CBCT scans, chairside assistance and sterilization Chairside Assistance: Provide high-volume, four-handed dentistry assistance, including passing instruments and managing suction during root canals and surgical procedures. Imaging & Diagnostics: Take digital X-rays and specialized imaging like CBCT scans. Sterilization & Infection Control: Maintain strict, specialized sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment following CDC guidelines. Patient Care & Management: Prepare patients for treatment, explain procedures, monitor comfort, and provide post-operative instructions. Inventory & Setup: Set up and break down treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary endodontic supplies (files, irrigation, filling materials) are stocked. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient treatment records, including charting in electronic health records and sending correspondence to referring dentists. Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license. Previous experience in a dental office is highly valued. Please e-mail resume
