*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental issues, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health. A strong commitment to patient care and a thorough understanding of dental practices are essential for success in this role. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs. * Perform general dentistry procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals. * Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions accurately. * Maintain aseptic techniques during all dental procedures to ensure patient safety. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. * Document patient information accurately in the dental office management software (Dentrix or similar). * Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care. * Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. *Experience* * Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. * Experience in general dentistry is preferred; familiarity with pediatrics is a plus. * Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field. * Knowledge of electronic health record systems such as Epic is advantageous. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
