General Dentist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and enhancing smiles with confidence. Duties

• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, cosmetic, and prosthodontics.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
• Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and aseptic technique.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans effectively to patients and team members.
• Manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate and complete medical records and dental charts.
• Apply infection control protocols diligently to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with specialists when necessary for complex cases such as endodontics or pediatric dentistry, ensuring seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry.
• Proven experience in a dental clinic or office setting with proficiency in dental office software such as Open Dental or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards.
• Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently to enhance patient comfort and treatment flow.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus; experience working with children is highly valued.
