Seeking a Periodontist for Principal Role. Owner will stay on part time.
Brand new office build out with the latest in technology and equipment.
In this vital role, you will focus on diagnosing and treating periodontal (gum) diseases, performing advanced procedures such as periodontal surgeries, dental implants, and tissue regeneration. Your expertise will help improve patients’ oral health, restore function, and enhance their smiles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care, clinical excellence, and professional growth are prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal evaluations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review
- Perform periodontal treatments such as scaling and root planing, gum surgeries, tissue grafts, and dental implant placements
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop integrated treatment plans for complex cases
- Utilize dental imaging technology and medical documentation to accurately diagnose conditions and monitor treatment progress
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, disease prevention, and post-treatment care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations
Experience
- Proven experience in periodontics or advanced training in periodontal procedures
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Demonstrated ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior dental office or clinic experience that showcases excellent patient care skills and attention to detail
