Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant II (DAII) to join our fast-paced general dental practice. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, clinically strong, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Chairside assisting for restorative dentistry, crowns, bridges, extractions, endodontics, removable prosthetics, and emergency care Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans (iTero experience preferred) Fabricate temporary crowns and assist with impressions, bite registrations, and diagnostic records Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA/CDC infection control compliance Review medical histories, document clinical notes, and provide post-operative instructions Maintain efficient patient flow and support the clinical team as needed
Requirements
Current North Carolina Dental Assistant II (DAII) certification Current radiography certification Strong communication and organizational skills Professional demeanor and dependable attendance Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Experience
2+ years of general dentistry experience Experience with EagleSoft practice management software Experience with iTero scanning Coronal polishing certification
