Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient
• Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and radiation guidelines
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term health habits
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriatelyQualifications
• Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice
