Dental Hygienist | Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, skilled in clinical procedures, and committed to building strong patient relationships. You will play a key role in promoting oral health and supporting the overall treatment plan for each patient.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 9AM - 5PM Friday 9AM - 3PM Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Preventive Treatment

Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planning Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans Apply sealants, fluoride, and desensitizing agents

Patient Education

Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and long-term oral hygiene habits Provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance related to oral health

Treatment Coordination & Documentation

Review and update medical histories and patient records Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning Document clinical findings accurately in patient management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Qualifications Valid Illinois Dental Hygiene License Current CPR/BLS certification Proficiency in Patient Management Software Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a team environment Physical Requirements
