Toothology Dental is looking for a motivated, skilled, and positive Dental Assistant II to join our brand-new private practice in South Charlotte.
We are a one-doctor, modern dental office focused on comprehensive dentistry, implants, oral surgery, cosmetics, endodontics, digital technology, and an elevated patient experience.
Because we are a new practice, this is a unique opportunity to join from the beginning and grow with us. 💻 Our Technology
We will be a fully digital office using:
• Dentrix Ascend practice management software • SprintRay 3D printers • Shining 3D intraoral scanner • CBCT imaging • Digital workflows for restorative, implant, surgical, and cosmetic cases
Experience with these systems is a plus
💺 What You’ll Be Doing
• Assist chairside with restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, surgical, and implant procedures • Support efficient four-handed dentistry and smooth patient flow • Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, intraoral scans, and dental photography • Prepare, stock, clean, and turn over operatories efficiently • Follow proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA protocols • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment notes • Educate patients and provide clear pre-op and post-op instructions • Assist with digital impressions, bite registrations, temporaries, lab cases, and digital workflows • Help maintain inventory, supplies, and organized clinical systems • Keep operatories and the clinical area clean, stocked, and ready • Help create a calm, professional, and comfortable experience for every patient • Bring positive energy and teamwork to each day
📋 Requirements
✔ NC Dental Assistant II Certification ✔ NC Radiology Certification ✔ Coronal Polishing Certification ✔ Minimum 2–3 years of dental assisting experience preferred ✔ Implant assisting experience strongly preferred/needed ✔ Strong communication and patient care skills ✔ Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented ✔ Positive attitude and team-first mindset ✔ Willingness to learn new technology and digital workflows
⭐ Preferred Experience
Experience in the following areas is strongly preferred: • Oral surgery • Implant dentistry • Endodontics • Cosmetic dentistry • Nitrous certification • Digital scanning • CBCT imaging • Dental photography • 3D printing workflows • Dentrix / Dentrix Ascend

🗓 Schedule
