We’d love to have you join us Part-Time or Full-Time in Flower Mound, TX - 2 days to start - possibly leading to full time, if you desire. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. Dental Hygienist Job Requirements • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Accurate and precise attention to detail • Caring bedside manner • Positive demeanor and attitude and a team player • Good professional and grooming image • Experience working with children preferred • Good finger and manual dexterity • Steadiness of arm and hand • Control precision • Comfortable using computers and dental technologies for variety of tasks • 2+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist • Private Practice Experience Preferred • Proficiency with Eagle soft Practice Management Software is a plus

Dental Hygienist Job Duties and Responsibilities • Prepare treatment room by adhering to protocols and procedures • Select equipment and material by examining the oral health of the patient • Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patient • Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing, sharpening, and selecting instruments • Apply fluoride and other agents to prevent cavities • Prepare and take dental x-rays • Detect disease by examining gums, screening for oral cancer, and assessing levels of periodontal disease • Educate patients about good oral hygiene including plaque control and postoperative instructions and build trust with patients • Document services by recording dental histories and recording visits in patient’s chart • Maintain clean and safe working environment by complying with regulations, rules, and procedures • Maintain dental supplies inventory by checking stock and placing orders • Maintain patient confidentiality
