Dental Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentist in providing excellent oral healthcare and ensure a smooth patient experience.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
• Take dental x-rays (Pano and FMX) in a timely manner
• Sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
• Perform basic dental laboratory procedures
• Provide chairside assistance for various dental procedures including endodontics and prosthodontics,

Requirements

• Dental assisting certification or relevant diploma
• Proficiency in Dentrix software
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and anatomy
• Familiarity with taking vital signs and patient assessment
• Excellent communication skills

-Minimum 3 years experience.

This position offers a great opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic healthcare environment. Our office is open Monday - Thursday. The hours of work are 8:00am - 5:00pm
