Dental Hygienist

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures.

Duties:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
• Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical history
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Experience:

• Proficient in patient assessment techniques, including taking vital signs
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to patient privacy guidelines
• Skilled in performing dental cleanings using proper aseptic techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment
