Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW: Friendly, fast-paced dental practice looking for a team oriented and energetic full time Registered Dental Assistant. The individual we are looking for should be well-organized, exhibit attention to detail, have excellent communication and people skills, and adhere to both office and industry regulations. Above all this individual will need to be team-oriented and willing to take initiative and assist in whatever capacity might be needed. Applicant should also be current for all licenses and certifications, including CPR certification and possibly Nitrous.

Our office in Grand Prairie is open Monday through Thursday and every other Friday.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Dental experience is a must (2+ years)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
  • Proficient in making Temp Crowns
  • Team player, Dependable and Punctual
  • Eaglesoft experience is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation for patients for treatment, including helping to address questions and concerns the patients may have (Spanish translation may be needed)
  • Scanning with 3D scanner
  • Fabrication of temp crowns
  • Selection and set up of instruments, equipment and materials needed for the procedures.
  • Proper sterilization of instruments and maintain infection control standards.
  • Use of four-handed dentistry
  • Taking digital radiographs
  • Post-operative care instructions
  • Cleaning and restocking of operatories

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for accurate documentation and appointment management.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Experience with dental coding and dental records management within a dental setting.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control procedures.
  • Skilled in chairside assisting techniques across general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities to foster a positive patient experience.
