Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview: We are a longstanding, doctor owned and operated dental practice in North Wilkesboro seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our 5 op practice is looking for a motivated individual to help provide efficient, general dental care to a vibrant patient base. A team-based approach to managing patient care is adopted and as a Dental Hygienist you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your expertise and care will contribute to creating a positive and comfortable experience for our patients during their dental visit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by performing dental cleanings and assessments. Help lead the office hygiene program by evaluating, monitoring, and treating patient periodontal status.
• Utilize dental terminology and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient office experience.
• Utilize cloud-based software for documentation and patient management.
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in North Carolina
• Proficient in dental terminology and patient care
• Experience with dental software
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and aseptic techniques
• Ability to perform patient assessments and vital sign checks
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork in a dental office setting
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management
