Dental Hygienist

***Offering Full Time (Mon-Thurs 7AM-4PM) OR Part Time (Wed & Thurs 7AM-4PM) ***

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, focusing on preventive measures and patient education. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to promoting oral health and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients, including children.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as needed. Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting. Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays). Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, including gingivitis, periodontal disease, and oral cancer. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants. Document patient treatment, findings, and recommendations accurately in electronic dental records. Assist dentists with examinations and treatment planning. Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms. Build positive relationships with patients and help create a comfortable, welcoming environment. Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Current state Dental Hygienist license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
