Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to determine oral health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including preventive care, restorative work, oral surgery, and emergency treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ability to perform oral surgery procedures as needed.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate patient assessment and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
