Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and patient assessments to determine individual needs.
- Conduct dental cleanings using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and comfort for patients.
- Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations to promote long-term oral health.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials to practice legally.
- Proven experience in general dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control techniques, and aseptic procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes.
Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
