Summary

As a Dental Assistant at Mark Sisko DDS, PA, you will play an integral role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This position is vital for maintaining the efficiency of our practice and enhancing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures and treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for patient use.
• Manage patient records using Dentrix software efficiently.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Support pediatric patients with a friendly approach during their visits.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing front desk tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant
• Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential.
• Experience with Dentrix and Dexis or similar dental software is required.
• Strong assisting skills in a clinical setting are necessary.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of endodontics and prosthodontics is beneficial but not required.
