Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cross Trained Registered Dental Assistant to join our team as. As well as a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will involve scheduling appointments, managing phone systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

Schedule and confirm dental appointments using Dentrix scheduling software

Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns

Manage patient records and update information as necessary

Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing processes

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Skills:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an RDA or in a Dental office setting

Proven experience as a dental receptionist

Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using dental office software (e.g., Dentrix)

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
