Dental Chairside Assistant
Job Description
A growing pediatric dental practice in Suffolk, Virginia looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-oriented Dental Assistant I.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist in chair side ops such as composite fillings, stainless steel crowns, and extractions.
- Take oral radiographs
- Sterilization and disinfection procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment/seating/positioning chair/placing napkin
- Prepare procedural trays and assist chair-side
- Chart existing restorations and conditions as instructed by the dentist
- Preventive education and oral hygiene instruction
- Assisting with front office tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Pediatric dental experience is nice to have.
