Full-Time Dental Assistant Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
New Orleans Smiles is looking for an experienced Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is dependable, motivated, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This position is ideal for a dental assistant who enjoys both clinical care and teamwork, takes initiative, communicates well, and is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within a supportive office culture.
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures and patient flow
- Taking dental X-rays and clinical photos
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and operatories
- Maintaining operatory flow and cleanliness
- Supporting patient care, comfort, and education
- Assisting providers with clinical procedures and daily workflow
- Accurate charting and clinical documentation
- Collaborating closely with dental, ortho, hygiene, and admin teams
Qualifications
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficient in both dental and orthodontic assisting
- EDDA certification required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- X-ray certification preferred
- Available to work Saturdays
- Strong clinical knowledge, organization, and patient communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation: $17–20/hour
Pay will be based on experience, certifications, clinical knowledge, and overall qualifications.
