Dental Hygienist

Join our private practice as a dental hygienist, where we pride ourselves on our collaborative close-knit group of professionals. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, assist with patient assessments, and support overall efficiency of our dental practice. Hours of operation: Monday-Thursday (8am-5pm), Friday (7am-12:30pm)

Responsibilities: • Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to ensure optimal oral health. • Review medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. • Take dental radiographs while adhering to proper aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols. • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. • Maintain accurate dental records by documenting treatment details, medical history updates, and procedural notes in Dentrix. • Follow infection control protocols rigorously to ensure a sterile environment and compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Requirements • Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. • Proven experience in dental office settings with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred. • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix, along with strong knowledge of dental terminology/coding. • Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry, medical terminology, and documentation review processes. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and exceptional patient care standards. • Join us to make a difference in patients’ lives through compassionate care, technical excellence, and a vibrant team environment!
