⭐ Position: Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our close‑knit team. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient‑focused, and excited to contribute to a practice where teamwork and long‑term relationships matter.

🔧 Key Responsibilities Clinical Support — Perform EFDA duties including placing restorations, polishing, taking impressions, and assisting with restorative procedures. **Prefer EFDA to wear loupes.

Chairside Assistance — Support the dentist during procedures with excellent anticipation and organization.

Patient Care — Provide a friendly, reassuring presence and ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.

Sterilization & Prep — Maintain strict infection control standards and prepare operatories for daily procedures.

Digital Dentistry — Capture digital X‑rays, maintain accurate patient records, and assist with digital workflows.

Team Collaboration — Work closely with our long‑term staff to maintain smooth daily operations and a positive environment.

Ordering- Work closely with Dr. Walker to order supplies.

**Digital dental experience and loupes are a plus

🎓 Qualifications EFDA Certification in the state of Ohio (required)

Minimum 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred

Strong communication and patient‑interaction skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, single‑provider practice

A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
