Dental Assistant

We are a multiyear Best of Annapolis recognized private practice located in Annapolis, Maryland. We are seeking an experienced Maryland Expanded Functions licensed assistant for a full-time position. Our office is a high-quality general practice that prides itself on our excellence level of care we provide for our patients. Our next team member will need to be extremely dependable, have a good work ethic, someone that can work well with a team and have great communication skills. We have a warm, friendly, low drama team! Employment hours are: Monday – Thursday 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM Fridays 7:45-2PM Tasks are listed but not limited to:

1. Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. (crowns, implants, fillings, oral surgery)
2. Preparing dental operatory for schedule dental treatment appointments.
3. Exposing dental X-rays.
4. Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and operatory.
5. Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
6. Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)
7. Taking impressions, pouring up models and some lab work Completive salary based on experience ($27.00-$31.00 an hour, 401K with profit sharing, and access to Aflac insurance policies as well) Requirements for employment: Maryland certification for Dental Assistant Qualified in General Duties (Expanded Functions) Maryland license for Dental radiology John D.
