Dental Assistant

We are a privately owned, fee-for-service Prosthodontic and General Dentistry office located in downtown Ball Ground, GA focused on delivering a high level of care and an exceptional patient experience. As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for a Dental Assistant who takes pride in their work and values professionalism, organization, and attention to detail. You will often be one of the first impression of our office and a key part of maintaining the level of service we're known for.

We take pride in knowing our patients and creating a calm, welcoming environment. Being fee-for-service, the focus is on relationships and quality. While we are not in network with any insurances, we do file for patients and try to make this process as straight-forward as possible.

We are looking for someone who: -Possesses a professional, polished demeanor -Has prior dental assisting experience but would consider training if the right person applies -Has excellent communication skills- clear, warm, and respectful -Has strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Is naturally attentive to both patients and the flow of the day -Completes tasks in a timely manner -Is comfortable discussing treatment plans -Values being part of a team that holds a high standard

Responsibilities: -Helping patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in and throughout the procedure -Assisting the Doctor with all types of restorative and surgical procedures -Answering phones, emails, texts to communicate with patients -Helping with treatment coordination and referrals -Managing a thoughtfully scheduled day for our 2 doctors and keeping the day running smoothly from the back -Maintaining properly stocked rooms and assisting with sterilization

Details: -Full time (M-Thr 7:30 AM to 5 PM; opportunities for some Fridays) -Benefits include Holidays, accrued vacation, and 401k. -Pay based on experience (ideally minimum of 1-3 years) -Clinical experience preferred but open to training a new graduate. -Ideal to have knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis
