Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared efficiently. , updating medical records Operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture accurate diagnostic images while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean treatment environment. Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedure efficiency and patient comfort. Assist with medical documentation and dental records. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions to foster trust and reassurance.

Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics. Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, Hands-on experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is required; familiarity with Epic or other medical record platforms is a plus. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures ensures compliance with health regulations. Experience operating dental imaging equipment including X-ray units enhances diagnostic support capabilities. Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting are key to success in this role. Pay: $27.66 - $32.00 per hour
