Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, and assisting the dentist during procedures.
Compensation:
- Hourly Safety Net or Production % pay
Part-time/full time:
- 8-32 hrs. weekly approximately
Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup

Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify any signs of dental diseases or abnormalities

Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes

Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as needed

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care

Document patient information accurately record with in our record system and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures

Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Skills:

Proficient in medical documentation and electronic medical record systems

Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry

Ability to perform dental imaging techniques accurately

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients on oral health topics effectively

Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required

Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
