Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are a local owned office, not a corporation.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays). Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in medical documentation. Manage patient records and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations. Provide chairside assistance during various dental treatments including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when required. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing dental clinic operations.
