Experienced Dental Assistant – Bilingual (English/Spanish) Lima Dental – Miami Lakes, FL

Lima Dental is seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are a modern, technology-driven practice focused on providing exceptional patient care while fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred Fluent in both English and Spanish Experience with Open Dental software preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment planning Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Current Florida Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification preferred X-Ray Certification required

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines Take and record patient medical histories and vital information Perform patient intake and update patient records Enter detailed and accurate clinical notes into Open Dental Assist with treatment planning and presenting treatment options to patients Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Perform intraoral scans using digital scanning technology Fabricate and adjust temporary restorations as permitted by Florida law Assist with implant, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed Ensure patients are comfortable and educated throughout their treatment Coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
