About Atlanta Dental Spa At Atlanta Dental Spa, our mission is to create an exceptional dental experience through comfort, compassion, and expertise. Patients are not just cases on a schedule; they are people who deserve to understand their options, feel confident about their care, and be treated with genuine warmth and respect. As our Treatment Coordinator in our Johns Creek location, you will be the trusted bridge between clinical recommendations and patient action, guiding patients through their treatment journey with clarity, compassion, and confidence. This is a relationship-driven position where your communication skills, your ability to listen, and your commitment to the patient experience directly shape both outcomes and lives.

Why This Role Matters The Treatment Coordinator is one of the most impactful roles in our practice. When you help a patient understand and commit to their treatment plan, you are not just driving revenue; you are changing their health. You are removing fear, reducing confusion, and giving people the confidence to move forward with the care they need. This role matters because:

  • Healthier patients start with someone willing to guide them clearly.
  • Practice growth is driven by trust, and you build it every single day.
  • Patient loyalty is earned in conversations like the ones you will lead.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Competitive pay + performance bonuses: Top hourly rates with bonus incentives tied to your results
  • 4-day Work Week: Tues-Fri schedule means you have Mondays off every week
  • Full benefits package: Health, vision, and supplemental insurance offerings
  • PTO & paid holidays: Time to recharge and take care of yourself
  • 401k with company match: We invest in your future, not just your present
  • A Luxury Environment: ADS is a fee-for-service practice with a genuine spa-like patient experience. You'll be proud of where you work.
  • Growth Mindset Culture: We invest in our team through ongoing training, leadership development, and professional growth opportunities.
  • A Team That Has Your Back: Collaborative, values-driven, and genuinely fun to work with.

What You’ll Do Present & Coordinate Treatment Plans

  • Walk patients through clinical recommendations, timelines, and financial responsibilities with confidence and empathy.
  • Collaborate with doctors and hygienists to ensure plans are clearly communicated and properly documented.
  • Proactively follow up on unscheduled treatment to re-engage patients and move care forward.

Guide Patients Through Financial Decisions

  • Explain insurance estimates, out-of-pocket costs, and financing options in a clear, approachable way.
  • Set up payment plans, CareCredit, or other financing tools as appropriate.
  • Collect payments at time of scheduling and document all financial agreements before treatment begins.

Coordinate Insurance & Pre-Treatment Prep

  • Work with the Insurance Coordinator to ensure accurate verification and pre-authorization.
  • Confirm pre-determinations are submitted and followed up on in a timely manner.
  • Help maintain accuracy of insurance estimates in CareStack to prevent surprises.

Build Relationships & Support Retention

  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Handle questions and concerns with empathy, escalating clinical issues appropriately.
  • Contribute to a pipeline that supports daily production goals and team success.

Who Thrives in This Role

  • A confident communicator who can present complex information clearly and with heart.
  • A natural relationship-builder who listens well and connects authentically with patients.
  • A persuasive, purpose-driven professional who believes in the value of the care being offered.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong handle on treatment pipelines and follow-ups.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, values-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Treatment Coordinator role.
  • Experience with CareStack or similar dental practice management software preferred.
  • Solid understanding of cosmetic, restorative, and/or surgical dental procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance processes, billing, and patient financing.
  • CPR Certification and dental assisting familiarity are a plus.
