Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments.
- Assess patient needs through thorough examinations and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatric dentistry and oral surgery.
- Utilize advanced dental software, Archy, Carestream to document patient records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, interpret dental imaging, AI assistance and apply detailed medical and dental terminology to ensure precise diagnoses and effective treatment strategies.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and ensure all medical documentation complies with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral wellness.
Qualifications
- Valid dental license to practice with current credentials in good standing.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication preferred.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Archy, Carestream
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and HIPAA compliance.
- Hands-on experience with medical imaging techniques and understanding of medical records management.
- Ability to perform dental extractions safely using aseptic techniques while maintaining patient comfort.
- Excellent communication skills for patient care and team collaboration within a busy dental clinic environment.
