About Our Practice Advanced Dental Arts is a thriving fee-for-service general and cosmetic dental practice located in Somerset, NJ. We are a modern, patient-centered office offering a full range of dental services including dental implants, cosmetic veneers, Invisalign, and comprehensive restorative dentistry. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings including scaling, root planing, and polishing — with the time to do it well Complete full periodontal assessments with pocket depths recorded at every recall visit Take and review digital radiographs including bitewings, full mouth series, and intraoral photos Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment findings Communicate clinical findings to the doctor before he enters the operatory Reappoint patients before they leave the chair Participate in our morning huddle and contribute to team goals Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist for a flexible part-time position — 2-3 days per week, 4-5 hours per day. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, takes pride in thorough periodontal assessments and patient education, and thrives in a practice where appointment time is built around doing things right, not rushing through the day. Qualifications Active New Jersey Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing — required Minimum 2 years of clinical hygiene experience — preferred Strong periodontal assessment and patient education skills Local anesthesia certification — preferred Experience with Dentrix practice management software — preferred but not required Positive attitude and genuine commitment to exceptional patient care THIS POSITION HAS THE POTENTIAL TO GROW INTO A FULL TIME ROLE WITH ADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDING 401(K) AND HEALTH INSURANCE AS OUR PRACTICE CONTINUES TO EXPAND
