Dental Hygienist

Full-time Hygienist We are looking for a personable and gentle Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team in a busy private practice in the Johns Creek-Alpharetta-Roswell area. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the latest techniques and procedures and able to provide excellent patient care. We are looking for a reliable individual who is committed to providing quality care and is passionate about helping others. This full-time position is for Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 - 1:00 pm with one column of patients.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient's oral health condition and provide preventive dental care services. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care. Perform dental cleanings and limited scaling, and root planing. Capable of hand scaling and using cavitron and air polishing systems. Take digital dental x-rays. Apply fluoride, sealants, and other cavity preventing agents to teeth. Document patient's medical history, vital signs, and dental charting. Provide patient education on diet, nutrition, and healthy oral habits.
