Office Manager Dental Front Office
Job Description
Dental Office Manager / Practice Manager — High-End Charlotte Dental Practice
About Pearl: At Pearl Dentistry Reimagined, we do dentistry differently. We are a modern, elevated, patient-centered dental brand in Charlotte known for exceptional care, a warm five-star experience, and a team culture that expects excellence without losing the human side of dentistry. We are looking for a true Practice Manager — someone who can lead people, drive performance, protect the patient experience, and take ownership of the office as if it were their own.
This is not a front desk coordinator role in disguise. This is a real leadership seat inside a growing, high-standard dental practice.
Position Overview: The Practice Manager is the heartbeat of the office. You will lead the daily operations of one Pearl location, creating structure, supporting the team, partnering with doctors, watching the numbers, solving problems, and making sure every patient feels the Pearl difference from the first phone call to checkout. You will work closely with our leadership team to help the practice consistently hit production, collections, scheduling, patient experience, and team culture goals.
What You’ll Own: Team Leadership & Culture • Lead, coach, and support the front office and clinical team • Create a positive, accountable, high-energy work environment • Run effective daily huddles and keep the team aligned • Manage team communication, schedules, accountability, and day-to-day issues • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and team development
Patient Experience • Oversee the patient journey from first call to checkout • Ensure every patient receives a warm, polished, five-star experience • Support phone skills, scheduling standards, treatment presentation, and follow-up systems • Protect the Pearl brand experience in every interaction • Keep the schedule full, productive, and well-coordinated
Practice Performance • Monitor production, collections, AR, case acceptance, scheduling, and other key KPIs • Review practice performance with leadership • Identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability, and efficiency • Support insurance, billing, collections, and financial conversations as needed • Understand how daily decisions impact the overall health of the practice
Operations & Systems • Manage daily office operations and patient flow • Ensure systems are followed consistently across the team • Improve workflows and reduce bottlenecks • Support provider utilization and schedule optimization • Maintain organization, follow-through, and operational excellence • Help the office run smoothly without needing constant direction
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate has • 5+ years of dental office management experience preferred • Strong understanding of dental insurance, scheduling, billing, collections, AR, and treatment planning flow • Experience leading a team in a fast-paced dental environment • Confidence reviewing numbers and using KPIs to improve performance • Strong communication skills with patients, doctors, and team members • A positive, calm, direct leadership style • High standards and strong follow-through • Ability to balance kindness with accountability • A true ownership mentality
You’ll Thrive Here If You: • Want a seat at the leadership table • Love leading people and building strong teams • Are organized, proactive, and solutions-focused • Notice when something is off and take initiative to fix it • Care deeply about patient experience • Can hold people accountable without creating unnecessary drama • Want to be part of a brand that is raising the standard for dentistry in Charlotte
Benefits & Perks: • Competitive salary based on experience • Dental benefits • Paid time off • Paid holidays • 401(k) / retirement plan options • Supportive leadership team • Opportunity for growth within a multi-location dental brand • Modern, elevated work environment • Team-focused culture with high standards and strong support
How to Apply:
If you are an experienced dental leader who is ready for more than just managing a schedule, we would love to meet you.
Please submit your resume and a brief note telling us why you would be a great fit for Pearl Dentistry Reimagined.
