Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our Smile & Co. Family Orthodontics team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for new patients, guiding them through their treatment journey. Your expertise will ensure seamless communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies, fostering a positive experience from initial consultation to follow-up care. Responsibilities:
Welcome and prep all new patients for their upcoming consults. Review and process medical documentation including treatment notes and billing information with attention to HIPAA compliance and accuracy. Provide exceptional patient service by answering multi-line phone systems professionally, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a welcoming front desk environment. Support office management tasks such as verifying insurance benefits, local marketing efforts, and coordinating clinic workflows to optimize efficiency. Drive patient case acceptance through proper schedule management and follow up. Skills
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management best practices to ensure confidentiality and compliance. Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and patient service; bilingual abilities are a plus. Clinic experience in dental or medical offices with familiarity in dental/ortho terminology preferred but not required. Ability to handle multi-tasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prerequisites:
High School diploma or equivalent required; College education preferred Minimum one (1) year experience in sales or other service industry required Bilingual a plus, but not required Ability build rapport with patients Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers Excellent sales skills Ability to talk to a person, not at a person The Perks:
