Registered Dental Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by providing necessary tools and materials.
- Prepare and maintain the dental clinic environment, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and updating medical histories in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Take dental x-rays, polish, make temporaries, and more, if qualified to perform RDA/certified duties.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
Qualifications
Dental radiograph, coronal polishing, CPR/BLS certifications are a plus but not required. Some offices may be willing to train.
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, reliable with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced dental environment, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour
