Registered Dental Assistant

Current opening for a board registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team at Prairie Kids Dental! We are just west of Hilliard and Grove City, in the Village of West Jefferson.

Responsibilities include:

• taking digital x-rays and using electronic records
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures and surgeries
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Take and record patient medical and dental history
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in using dental software systems (Open Dental or Denticon)
• Strong infection control practices and knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and families
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
