WELCOME DESK LEAD (PART TIME ROLE 24-28 hours/week)
We are looking for a bubbly, friendly and organized welcome bar lead to join our new, and modern dental practice. As the welcome bar lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations at our dental practice. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help us maintain an efficient and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. In this role, you will be the central point of coordination, supporting our healthcare providers and staff in delivering exceptional patient care. You will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the practice, from managing administrative tasks to enhancing patient interactions. Work Schedule is: Monday, Thursday, alternating Friday, and Saturday. We work two Fridays, and Saturdays a month (never in the same week) Tuesday would be just covering the front off (non-patient day) **PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE
Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dental office to ensure efficiency. Manage patient financial agreements, collect balances, handle accounts payable, manage in house membership plan. Insurance verification, daily claims and processing, patient statements, and collections. (We have a built in system to help with this!) Manage patient scheduling, ensuring optimal appointment flow. Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and patient inquiries. Maintain accurate patient records and office filing systems. Supervise and train office staff, promoting a collaborative team environment. Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to adhere to regulations. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Comfortable with the latest dental technology
Requirements 2-3 years experience required, preferably in a dental setting. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable with DentrixAscend or cloud based dental systems. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards. Ability to build relationships with patients and staff alike. A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team culture. Reliable transportation
