Dental Assistant Location: Flower Mound, TX Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $19.00–$27.00 per hour

Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative, surgical, and preventive treatments. Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays). Prepare dental materials, instruments, and equipment for patient procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and update clinical charts. Assist with scheduling appointments and support front office operations as needed. Ensure operatories are clean, organized, fully stocked, and ready for each patient. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: Autoclave cleaning and maintenance Refilling clinical supplies Keeping operatories, sterilization areas, and the reception area clean and organized Suction line cleaning and shock treatments Maintaining equipment according to office protocols Work collaboratively with the entire team to provide an outstanding patient experience. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and all office safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required. Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Current dental radiology (X-ray) certification. Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. A positive attitude and a team-first mindset. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, and a genuine desire to serve others.
