Registered Dental Hygieniest needed 1-2 Days Per Week

We need a Registered Dental Hygienist to work in our office 1-2 days a week; m_ost urgently on Thursdays; single column patients with a lunch. _

We are a patient-centered general family dental practice in Rigby looking for a caring and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As our practice continues to grow, we're expanding our hygiene team to better serve our patients.

Key responsibilities include:

• *Clinical procedures: *Scaling and polishing teeth, removing plaque and tartar, taking dental x-rays, applying topical fluoride and sealants
• *Patient assessment: *Reviewing medical history, conducting oral cancer screenings, assessing periodontal health
• *Patient education: *Teaching proper brushing and flossing techniques, discussing dietary habits and oral hygiene practices
• *Documentation: *Recording treatment details, charting findings, and updating patient records
• *Infection control: *Maintaining a sterile work environment, following proper sterilization protocols
• *Communication: *Collaborating with dentists, discussing treatment plans with patients, addressing concerns

Required Qualifications for an RDH:

• Completion from an accredited dental hygiene program, passing a state licensing exam with a current Idaho State RDH license.
