Looking to add a part time experienced Dental Assistant to our team. Qualified applicant must be outgoing and friendly, possess a positive attitude, be a team player, a hard worker and have the ability to multi-task.
Utilizing your skills and talents, you will assist the Oral Surgeon before, during, and after oral surgery by performing the following:
- Place equipment and supplies in operatory and arrange instruments, according to instructions
- Take digital PA's and panoramic x-rays
- Take and record patient’s vitals in patient’s chart
- Ability to hand instruments and supplies to Oral Surgeon, hold retractors, suctions and perform other tasks as directed by Oral Surgeon during procedure desired
- Take digital impressions
- Provide patient with postoperative instructions prescribed by Oral Surgeon
- Wash and sterilize equipment and instruments and clean operatory following procedure
- Take CT scans
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a dental assistant program
- Experience taking x-rays
- Prior experience with IV sedation a plus
- High School diploma'
