Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dentistry office. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our young patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our pediatric dentist in delivering dental procedures and treatments while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for children and their parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the pediatric dentist during dental procedures and treatments, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and dental exams.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures.
  • Take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Follow all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a pediatric dental office is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification. (Required)
  • CPR certification (Required)
  • Coronal Polishing, Sealant and Nitrous Certification (Recommended not Required)
